2004 Holidayz Diary (2)
another great idol departs today: i cant believe it would be olinda... i thought she would be able to make to the finals on 1st december... sigh... nothing now can bring her back to the competition... hope that she will continue to strive for her passion in singing and performing for people... it was really shocking to see olinda go, sylvester shouldnt be there, his performance last night was not up to hsi own standard... i think his fan base is getting too big, too big to accomodate to the needs of the other idol hopefuls... maybe ken lim was right that olinda and taufik was having a hard time trying to pull people to support them and all sly needs to do is to smile and girls crazy about him will be willing to spend at least a few hundred dollars to keep him in the competition... it really grieves to see yet another great talent lost... it's been quite some time since taufik and whoever that i do not wish to mention (coz he ... u know what i want to say) worked very hard (or did sly?) to perform in the final showdown... in the singapore indoor stadium... what a lousy venue, i wished i was suntec, more elegant... some parts of the indoor stadium is quite old, went there before, didnt like the atmosphere it provides... suntec more professional in holding large stages, made a godd stage to the singapore hit awards since 2001... suntec more accessible, not like indoor stadium: only has a narrow road which jams quite often when something goes on there... why wouldnt they think of that? maybe something else is going on at suntec, but at least suntec can make up some space for singapore idol to stage there grand finals, after all this is a made-in-singapore exclusive production! it should be made special and the venue to be staged in a special way, not in a stadium which has audience from 4 sides and the air-con is very obvious... anyway, planning to change the layout of my blog... havent been touching html for quite a while, see whether i can get something done so that i will be able to concentrate on the holiday homework later this year... still deciding on what colours to use, coz i have been using the same colours in this current blog as well as my under-construction website... maybe i should look at more of professional websites to get a good colour scheme... pic of the day: river tyne (dunno where it is)

my latest addition to my blog: pics at the end of every post... thep ic for this post is a forest in autumn, although it is not autumn right now... but i'm sure that this pic is really nice... got these pics from freefoto.com, go there and have a look, have qutie a lot of pics... another nice day... i do really hope it rains again... has been raining for quite some time, almost everyday is a wet day... such a hot weather right now... cant stand it, sweating a lot... still playing com until now, not going to touch my holiday homeowrk until next month... btw, the allocation for the humanities elective is out, got to go for geography... which is good for me, but the file got some errors... soem names are wrong and i don't really understand why it's like that... maybe becoz they did not choose so anyhow put a name there and anyhow get a place in the electives...

Holiday Frenzy 2004
it has been a very long time since i have been updating my blog... too busy in playing games right after the holidays... been planning how to spend the holidays... going to enjoy in november, then prepare for next year in december... looks like a very far-sighted vision, but i doubt that it will be a success...
this year's holidays, very the what... still got holiday homework, chemistry some more... still need to think about the stupid mrp theme for next year "relationships"... damn them for making the integration between the humanities compulsory this time... and worse still the integration is optional for year 2s and 3s (2005)... im not going to think about it until december... my brain is now plugged with my com and charging the built-in lithium ion battery until december... *dang* still coughing like mad since the start of the holidays... not really a good sign...
well, been catching singapore idol still, even though maia is out... maia is the only one that i admire amongst the 12 finalists... and too bad she has already been eliminated... but still im still watching the competition coz i've got nothing to do during thursdays and fridays... (though that is not the reason for me watching singapore idol)... now im pro-olinda, she's quite good, but maybe she really needs to fit herself into the dress image... cant stand her in pants... too long very xianz of her in pants... i dont really enjoy asia pop on singapore idol last week... the songs picked were not my taste and the contestants did not put in their very best... aiyah, they are not as good as those pros who are selling millions of albums around the world... they cant be as good as fantasia, cant be as good as stefanie sun, cant be as good clay aiken... forget about those superstar dreams... i dont really think that it will make them one...
been trying to discover something that can post pictures on this blog... found a kind of software that can send pictures to the net and post it right here... still testing the software, may start posting pics during my next blog... i will be replacing the taglines that i always put at the end of my posts with the pics...
until then i will continue with my gaming spree this november...
